The mission of Best Friends Animal Society is to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets. We do this by helping end the killing in America's animal shelters through building community programs and partnerships all across the nation. We believe that by working together we can Save Them All.
spcaLA is an independent, nonprofit animal welfare organization serving Southern California since 1877. Donations run programs and services including Cruelty Investigations, Disaster Animal Response Team, Humane Education and a variety of shelter services.
The only national, non-profit, professional pet sitting association dedicated to raising and abiding by industry standards. We support members with education, certification and the resources to operate successful businesses.
Our community welcomes pet sitters and pet parents.

Sandra Lollino has been passionate about animal care and welfare her entire life. In 2005, she left her corporate life behind to embark on ways to make a difference for people and animals.
After working with numerous contacts in the animal rescue community, she founded “Four Legged Friends Foundation”, a nonprofit to benefit the health and welfare of rescue pets. Using her meeting and planning skills, she coordinated events and expos creating awareness of the human-animal bond and assisted rescues with adoptions. Program proceeds also funded veterinary care for those in financial hardship.
Sandra reluctantly paused the nonprofit and returned to the corporate world where she was Director of Business Development for a low-cost vaccination clinic, and then Campaign Manager at a company that provided a pound of dog food to a rescue group, for every pound that sold.
Today she works with a variety of causes and missions and found a way to help animal welfare programs by providing the option for clients to allocate a portion of their voluntary employee benefits to Best Friends Animal Society or spcaLA at no extra cost.
After recently losing the last of her 5 beloved senior rescue dogs, Sandra has begun providing overnight dog sitting services. She knows how important it is to find a compassionate and caring dog sitter, and it gives her the opportunity to continue to be around animals that she loves so much.
